Labor Day Weekend

We had the best Labor day weekend ever. We went to our newly finished cabin in Mount Pleasant. It was so beautiful!!!! We headed Saturday afternoon after Hayden's football game. Which he played the whole game. He was awesome! He got hit hard a few times and now has a few nasty bruises on his arms. Anyway we will tell you more about Hayden and his games

another day. The weather was perfect the first day nice and warm. You can hear the creek running down the hill. We got the cabin all set up for our first stay. We had beds for everyone and plenty of movies to watch cause the satellite company can't come until the end of September. We enjoyed each others company. The weather the next day was just as nice as the first. Hayden and Brad set out to go bow hunting for deer but no luck. We went to bed with the window open and during the night the storm came. I mean it poured it woke Cortlyn up and she came and climbed in bed with me and Brad. The next morning we woke up to fog that covered the mountains in a big fluffy blanket. By noon the fog had lifted and you could see the clean and rain soaked mountain side. It rained again. It was magical listening to the rain hit the trees, rocks and cabin. All I could do was stare out the window and listen to the rain fall. It was heavenly! Everyone enjoyed themselves and want to go back soon.
