Ty and Kenzie's check-ups

Kenzie at her 9 month check-up weights in at 18.9 lbs and is 28 inches long. She is in the 75% for her height and 50% in her weight. I am afraid that Kenzie is going to pass Ty up right her shortly. He just doesn't have the growth hormones that Kenzie does. She also got her shots and she cried for 5 seconds and then was done.

So I took Ty for his 3 year check-up. That sure was a fun time let me tell you. Ty weights in at a whopping 28 lbs and is 35 inches tall. He is in the 5-10% in height and weight. Poor guy. He makes it up in his huge smile. Ty got his shots and he cried the whole time he had his and while Kenzie was getting hers. He cried all the way home too. Poor kid. I think he is going to have a couple of little issues. Sorry for the pun. Didn't mean it like that. We sure do love these kids. They bring such a joy to our lives.

Going to be better this year!

We meet our cute little cousin Ty for the first time over the holiday weekend. He is 3 and full of smiles.Isn't he adorable!!! Brad's brother is adopting him in a couple of months. And let me tell you he fits right in to this family. We now have four 3 year old all with in a couple of months of each other. CAn you say MISCHEIF!!!
Here are the kids dropping the ball from the loft at the cabin for our New year celebration. Shawnee wraps a ball with tin foil and rigs some kind of something to lower the ball. We count down and everything. The kids love it.
WE love to go sledding. Even Ty loves to join in.
Shawnee and her goofy hat. She can still be a kid.
WE celebrated Ty's 3rd birthday at the cabin. He had a dinosaur cake from Costco. He got some new church clothes. A Car's coloring book, Toy Story projecter that he loves and a Handy Manny motorcycle tool set. He was in heaven.

We had a great Christmas and New Year. We got to spend time with Wade and Amanda and there family. We don't get to see them very often they live in California. It is amazing to me that the kids play so well together and don't fight when there are so many of them. Since there was 12 children at the cabin and 8 adults. They made a snowman, went sledding and ate and ate and ate some more. We had 2 birthdays while we were there. First was Ty's and then Noah's was on New Years Eve. SO we had lots of cake and let me tell you there was no cake left when we left. That most have been some good cake.

I AM a SLACKER!!!!

I know what you are all thinking where have you been? Well let me explain. I have been down for the last 5 weeks. I have a herniated disk in my back. NOT GOOD!!! Just let me say not the best way to start off the holidays. I couldn't sit, stand or lay down. Very painful. My sweet hubby did all the shopping this year and we had a little help from a sweet little elf named Kylie who came to the rescue. Not sure what I would have done with out Brad and my kids. They have done everything for me. It has been really nice not to have to worry about anything but it put a little extra stress on Brad. Love ya honey. So we had a couple of parties, a dance recital, a birthday party, and a trip to the cabin with the cousins. We had a great Christmas the kids got what they wanted. They loved seeing their cousins from California and meeting their new cousin TY. He is the cutest thing ever. Tyrell turned 3. Wow where has the time gone. Kenzie decided to crawl over the holidays and the older three are just loving that they didn't have school in like forever. I was surprised they were all up and going this morning. No buses missed here. We had a rough 2009 and hope that 2010 will be a little kinder to us and everyone else. I am grateful for a wonderful husband who is always there by my side when ever I need him. He is a wonderful father as well. He loves his children. He has the kindest heart and is willing to give the shirt off his back to a total stranger. I love that about him. I am grateful for my kids who have been so patient with me this last month. My family and friends who were there every time I called or needed a little help. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and remembered that Our Savior is always there for you. That is one of my goals for this year to look to Him more often. I hope I can live up to that goal. We will have to wait and see.
