{ Best sleepover EVER }

The kids so wanted to sleep outside at the cabin so they hauled up the mattresses from the basement. Made themselves a bed and had a sleepover. Notice Cortlyn has a hoodie on over her head. NO it was not cold by all means she was just getting prepared just in case she needed it when she got cold. Which was never. Yes me and Kenzie slept in the cabin. Which was better cause she was up at 4 o'clock. The kids loved sleeping outside they did not even notice that is rained on them in the middle of the night. Lightning and thunder to say the least they slept right through it. Brad didn't he loves that kind of stuff. Oh they did sleep on the deck that is covered so no one got wet.

Jacksonhole vacation 2009

We had so much fun this year in Jacksonhole running the river. We had all the family this year plus Mitch, Terrie and Jacob. Brent and Bonnie and their grandson Noah, and some friends of Aaron's. No one was hurt. Shawnee got pink eye the second day we were there. Deven ,my dad, Shawnee, Hayden and both of their friends went on the river when the temp was only 46 degrees and raining. Needless to say they were so cold when they got off that they couldn't walk up to the truck. Poor kids but that didn't damper anything the kids went everytime after that. I got a nice bruise on the back of my thigh from falling out at Kahuna. We went to Jenny's Lake and hiked. It was a beautiful day we made it just in time to get on the boat and head back to the cars when it started to pour pain. On Wednesday we watched falling and shooting stars. It was amazing. We could have watched it all night but we had to drive home the next day.

Luau Baby

The Bateman family
Auntie Karen. My favorite
Auntie Pam with her granddaughters and in law
Auntie Karen and her boys Brent and Bradley
The men doing the warrior hula dance.
Keri and Uncle Stan
Cousin Tami, MacKenzie and Crystal
Aunt Debbie and Uncle Richard
The kids learning a hula dance.

The Bateman family reunion of 2009. Aunt Deb and Uncle Stan were in charge of it this year and they did a Hawaiann Luau. With palm trees, lais and hula dancers. We had it in my backyard. It was perfect. The weather was beautiful. The company even better. I believe we had over 100 people here that was including kids. It was catered with great food and then we had the privledge of watching a hula dance from all the islands in Hawaii. It was awesome. So entertaining. Grandma and Grandpa Bateman are turning 96 this year and I think they look amazing. I was lucky enough to get pictures with them. It was great to visit with cousins, aunts and uncles. What a great time. Deb and Stan did an amazing job! Can't think of a better thing to do on a Saturday night then to spend it with your family and loved ones from all over. Thanks everyone that came. It was so nice to see and visit with everyone. See you next year!!!! Until next time ALOOOOOOHA!!!!!
